Cumpleanos de Abril

Would everyone just quit having so many dang birthdays? Or else do your own birthday blogs! Okay, you know I'm the only Crazy Camera lady that has all the pics to post! But seriously, we love you both, and I (hopefully) wrote good things about you last April on this blog. If I have to outdo myself with every post, I'll psyche myself out of doing them, so please, enjoy, even though I'm not going all-out!

This month, the lucky winners are........

Ryan Stevens, proud father-to-be of Baby Stevens

"Crazy Larry" --------------------------------->
And Missy Terry, proud soon-to-be-mother-of-two-darling-boys

"Pregnant-Goth-Cute-Missy"

And an honorable mention goes to Corey for sharing his half-birthday with Ryan.

Zach & Jack

Zach and Jack get to spend a lot of time together now that Missy watches Zach 2 days a week while I am at work. While many 21 month-olds like to poke and pester babies, Adam Jack is as sweet and tender as can be. He affectionately calls Zach "Baba," and squeals with glee every time he touches the baby. He also pouts and cries if he is denied a turn holding or touching the baby. He is quick to be sure Zach always has a pacifier (or two or three!), and Jack is kind enough to test it out first before giving it to the baby! He brings the baby diapers and bibs and wipes, and likes to try out these items, also. He loves to hug and kiss his tiny buddy. Jack will undoubtedly be a helpful and doting big brother!

February Birthdays

I used to have time to do a separate blog for each birthday, but since we had three in February, I'll include you all in one!

Dad's was on the 10th. We all love you Dad, for providing for our physical and emotional needs. We all love your creativity and uniqueness. You are a sweet grandparent to our little ones, and they love you too.

Nicholas Moroni turned 5 on the 3rd. Nicky, we love you so much. You are the most spirited, charismatic 5 year old I know! Your zest for life reminds me of your dad. You are so sweet and kind. We are so glad you came into our family- it wouldn't be the same without you!!

Adam, thanks for being a good husband to our sweet sister, Missy. You treat her like a queen, and are a great example of how a loving husband and father should treat his family. You are an extremely determined, hard worker, and I know you will benefit from that as you graduate in the near future. We love you!

Christmas Celebrations

Nick and Meadow's family arrived at our home on Sunday, and we opened gifts and were entertained by the kiddos. Nicky sang us several renditions of Killers songs mixed in with snowman lyrics, replete with his own vibrato effects. Tressa led the singing from the top of the stairs and kept asking throughout the day when we could open the gifts. Her favorite was a porcelain Indian doll from Mom. We made a teepee for it out of tissue paper and kabob skewers. Hyrum was elated about a shirt I gave him, which was a surprise for me. What kids like getting clothes? He couldn't get it on fast enough, and it ended up upside-down with the collar at his waist, but he was still happy! Meadow made gorgeous, intricate paper flowers to decorate the packages. I think mine and Corey's favorite gift was a coupon from Mike good for house cleaning and dish doing- awesome!
Hyrum and Adam Jack getting into treats in the pantry- the one thing they can share! Most of the time, they did not get along well. Doesn't Hyrum look like Gabie here?

Adam Jack was 90% asleep, but insisted that Missy finish feeding him his Cocoa Puffs- so hilarious!

Adam Jack's stylish 'do.
